Mespil Hotel

Freeney’s Graphics were appointed in 2016 to design, manufacture and install a new internal wayfinding system for hotel guests.

Working with Ciara from CLR Design and Janet and the hotel marketing team we discussed the merits of all available options. Glass was the preferred substrate and we recommended a 6mm polished clear glass with diamond polished bevelled edge to give the signs and door numbers a contemporary, classic look.

Our most recent project at Mespil was the installation of built up, painted, descaled stainless steel lettering. All letters were fitted with white LED lighting which emits a beautiful halo effect around each letter which comes to life at night. Maurice at Creation designed the logo configuration and the pleasing end result is a very effective Signature sign, visible as guests approach the hotel from along the canal at Charlemont Bridge.
